Aguas Mansas Cuishe mezcal is made from a maguey that develops in arid areas of the Tehuacán Valley and the Central Valleys. It is a very variable species, it changes colour, size and shape according to the area in which it is born. It is unique because pineapple grows out of the ground.
Among the agave “Piñas" (hearts) flow liquid stories, some about the farmers who care for them as they are growing, some about the mezcal makers that make them flourish, and others about the drinkers who in every sip gives them life.
And it is in those Aguas Mansas, full of stories, where the aromas and flavours are deposited of one of the drinks more identified by Mexicans; mezcal.
Drinking Aguas Mansas mezcal is to stir the best that arises from an agave that has been through a conical ground oven, a stone grinding wheel, fermented in a wooden tub and distilled in copper stills.
