Agave Tobala takes between 12-15 years to mature. It can also only grow from seeds and requires a lot of pinas to create a small batch of mezcal. It's incredible the mezcaleros are even able to produce enough for world wide distribution. This Tobala mezcal has also been distilled in clay pot stills - this is very rare these days and adds even more intrigue to this already magnetic mezcal. The black ceramic bottle of Bozal Tobalá is used to signify the way in which the mezcal was produced in the Ancestral Style.
TASTE: A delicate balance of citrus and earthy flavors coat the palate followed by smoky undertones. The finish is clean with intense tropical fruits.
