One of Australia’s best sipping tequilas. Clase Azul reposado is an ultra-premium reposado tequila made with 100% Tequilana Weber Blue Agave. After harvesting it is slow cooked in traditional stone ovens for a minimum of 72 hours. Once the agave reaches a deep, rich flavour, it is fermented with proprietary yeast. After distillation it is then aged for 8 months in hand-selected oak barrels. This process results in a superb, smooth taste which exceeds expectations with each sip.
Clase Azul reposado tequila has long been regarded as a premium 100% agave sipping tequila. It has gain enormous popularity over the last few years. So much so that the distillery in Mexico is struggling to keep up with world wide demand. We continue to do everything to ensure Clase Azul reposado is stocked and available here in Australia.
The bottle style is called "Talavera", which was introduced to Mexico by Spanish artisans of the Colonial period. Known as "majolica" in Spain. Hand sculpted and individually painted by hand, each bottle of Clase Azul is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
