Los Siete Misterios was born from a trip the founders took in 2010. Inspired by the traditions, culture, and passion of the distilleries they visited, they embarked on connecting this "lost world" with the present time. Los Siete Misterios are a family comprised of the Founders, the Maestros Mezcaleros and the broader Oaxacan communities that work together to bring you a perfectly refined spirit. Los Siete Misterios is also committed to supporting the micro economies in which the distilleries are located.

Los Siete Misterios pechuga is as rare as they come with annual production limited to only 500 litres. It is amazing you can hold 750ml of that in your hand, here in Australia. During the 3rd distillation, fruit and spices are added to the blend whilst a chicken breast is hung over the still allowing the vapours to pass over it. Pechuga is typically reserved for family and cultural celebrations and this release captures that very essence.

AROMA: Herb and vegetal notes. Sweet fruits and some smoke.
TASTE: The agave flavour is complimented by the pechuga production methods. Fruit, nut, and spice notes are evident giving a well-balanced and complex profile.
