Ocho Single Barrel Anejo Tequila - La Latilla (700ml / 54.8%)

Ocho tequila is the result of un-parrelled attention to detail in every step of the production process. Over-ripe agaves are hand selected from single estate plantations which gives the master distiller, Carlos Camarena, full control over the aroma and flavour profile of the end product. The results speak for themselves.

This single barrel Anejo is a rare find with only 978 ever made. Not only is it made with single estate agaves, but aged in a single barrel and bottled at cask strength as well. We are extremly lucky to have secured some. The agaves for the release were harvested from La Latilla, only a short distance from the distillery and were of 7 years maturity.

AROMA: Mint leaves and tart red fruit, with aromatic oak char, dusty cocoa and a vegetal earthiness.
TASTE: Sandalwood and incense, with savoury hints of roasted pepper coming through. Waves of toffee and orange peel sweetness develop.
