This G4 Extra Anejo is extraordinary. Having spent at least 3 years in a bourbon barrel the controlled influence on the agave flavour is something to marvel. Simply superb. It honours every aspect of the agave and displays its captivating and beautiful aroma and flavour. The agaves used are from the highlands of Jalisco and are cooked in brick ovens before being tahona crushed. The mix of rain and natural spring water brings out the authentic minerality of tequila.
Felipe knows how to age tequila, and this is a prime example of how to enhance a tequila with oak barrelling.

Distilled with 50% harvested rainwater and 50% natural spring water, G4 has an aroma and taste that brings forward pure agave and a harmony with nature that isn’t found in any other tequila. AROMA: Cooked agave and floral notes with mint and citrus. Not much oak or aged notes to speak of.
TASTE: Crisp underlying agave and light oak. Caramel and almond/hazelnut predominate with some degree of baking spice. This is lightly sweet and somewhat spicy. Oily and complex too. The finish is long and prolongs all the taste notes with some stronger baking spice.
BARREL: American oak for at least 3 years
ENJOY: As a premium sipping tequila. Take your time with this one.
