Felipe has long been regarded as the mad scientist of sustainable tequila and wow he has excelled himself. Everything at his El Pandillo distillery serves an earth friendly purpose with the results being near perfect tequila every time.
The stand out feature of his Los Altos based distillery is its ability to capture and use rain water. Pasote tequila uses 40% rainwater and 60% spring water. The effect on taste is evident and contributes significantly to the uniqueness and success of this range. The agaves are also sourced from one of Felipes fields in the highlands of Jesus Maria.

TASTE: The experience begins with a decadently rich mouthfeel that’s velvety smooth. Long barrel aging mellows the character of the roasted agave, bringing out hints of roasted oranges and spicy cinnamon for a finely nuanced complexity. The finish is long and warm, with depths of toasty sweet flavors. The luscious mouthfeel lingers on and on.
