In the desert Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, 250 acres of land has been handed down from generation to generation for more than 200 years. Today, this is the land of Riazul – a silky, smooth tequila made from 100% blue agave, honouring the heritage of the land and celebrating the independent spirit of its people. After two distillations, the reposado is aged for 9 months to perfectly balance agave with wooded flavours. Riazul selected French oak barrels, made from wood in the Citeaux forests of Burgundy and featuring a medium toast.
AROMA: Sweet scent of agave, pineapple, with hints of vanilla and oak.
TASTE: Smooth, bright, and approachable. The bold flavor of agave is omnipresent during the tasting experience, with spicy pepper, floral, and citrus notes complimented by hints of caramel and butterscotch. Medium - long finish that leaves a deliciously herbal and floral aftertaste.
BARREL: French oak barrels
ENJOY: As sipping tequila
