Roca Patron Silver Tequila (750ml / 45%)
Roca Patron is a step back in time to how tequila was traditionally made the artisanal way. Whilst the core release of Patron makes for a tequila that serves the masses, Roca Patron steps up in to a level of refinement and complexity only seen when producing tequila the traditional way.
A selection of the finest Weber Blue agave are chosen from Patrons agave estates before being roasted in small brick ovens for 79 hours. A 2 ton volcanic tahona wheel is then used to extract the fermentable juices before fermentation in wood tanks with the agave fibres present. Finally, a double distillation is done using copper pots. The result is something remarkable.
AROMA: Agave, minerals, grapefruit. Some floral aromas, definitely a saline note.
TASTE: On the palate, the cooked agave is part of the medley of flavours. Cinnamon, citrus, minerality and a vegetal notes are all in the mix.
BARREL: Unaged
ENJOY: Sipped and savoured with friends and family
