This Santanera Blanco tequila is Certified Kosher and made from 100% Webber Blue Agave with wild yeast, the spirit is clear with a medium body and high tannin.

Casa Santanera produces some of the world’s finest batch crafted Tequila. Founder Pablo Lara has a family history in Agave cultivation and distillation. Casa Santanera is working against the commercial orientation of the mainstream Tequila industry, where the art of producing Tequila has been replaced by chemistry. From producing packaging and labels from recycled Agave fibres, to creating single terroir certified organic Tequila, Casa Santanera is working to increase sustainability practices while being renowned for the highest quality Tequila on the market.

Using hand built, custom brick ovens and special concrete fermentation tanks that produce a higher concentration of bubbles during the fermentation stage, Casa Santanera also uses a unique technique they have dubbed “Sonic Harmonization”
whereby classical music by Mozart is played 24 hours a day to the fermentation tanks. They claim that this style of music causes a more dynamic and harmonious movement in the yeast, which in turn creates deeper flavours and aromas. This “Sonic Harmonization” technique is inspired by formal studies by pseudo-scientist Masaru Emoto, whereby it is claimed that classical music benefits all living things down to a molecular level.

AROMA: On the nose it has a honeyed profile with botanical nuances, cooked agave and crystallized fig notes sprout, complemented by nuances of lime peel, fresh anise, menthol and epazote.
TASTE: On the sweeter side, with notes of vanilla pods, chamomile flower and honey, with a long ending of pepper.
