Aguas Mansas Tobala Mezcal (750ml / 45%)
Aguas Mansas Tobala mezcal is made from a maguey plant that grows in mountainous areas, stony soils, and it's wild reproduction makes it one of the most appreciated mezcales in Oaxaca.
Among the agave “Piñas" (hearts) flow liquid stories, some about the farmers who care for them as they are growing, some about the mezcal makers that make them flourish, and others about the drinkers who in every sip gives them life.
And it is in those Aguas Mansas, full of stories, where the aromas and flavours are deposited of one of the drinks more identified by Mexicans; mezcal.
Drinking Aguas Mansas mezcal is to stir the best that arises from an agave that has been through a conical ground oven, a stone grinding wheel, fermented in a wooden tub and distilled in copper stills.
